[Keywords:] EB virus lymphoma transgenic mouse genetic Phenotype study of lymphoma in EBV BLLF1 gene transgenic mice [Abstract] Objective To observe the pathogenic and histopathologic characteristics of lymphoma in EBV BLLF1 gene transgenic mice.Methods We constructed transgenic mouse with EBV BLLF1 gene which codes for membrane antigen (MA) and found that two of the four lines that expressed MA had the phenotype of lymphoma at the age of 4 month and 8 month old respectively. Analysis of pathology and immunologic phenotype of the lymphoma shows that it is T-cell lymphoma. Results The relationship between EBV BLLF1 gene and lymphoma for the first time, suggesting the expression of BLLF1 gene may lead to lymphoma. Here we provide the results of further study on the characteristics of lymphoma phenotype and the stability of lymphoma after breeding. Conclusion The results show that after 16 passages, the phenotype of lymphoma is obvious and stable.
