Methods: 4 patients with alkali burns, 10 cases of corneal ulcer patients, a total of 14 cases. Using single-layer amniotic membrane transplantation, patients were followed up 6 ~ 12mo . Results: 14 cases were clinically no fresh amniotic membrane graft acute rejection, while the rapid and stable ocular surface. no corneal alkali burn in 4 cases of sexual dissolution and perforation, 10 cases of corneal ulcer and 8 cases of ulcer patients, visual acuity was improved. Conclusion: amniotic membrane transplantation is an effective method for ocular surface reconstruction, which can reduce corneal inflammation and prevent progressive dissolution of the cornea and accelerate ocular surface stability, and reduce corneal neovascularization, corneal transplantation is win precious time of to create a good foundation. Single layer amniotic membrane transplantion was performed , with postoperative follow up of 6 12 months. RESULTS: Fourteen cases had no sign of postoperative acute graft rejection clinically; At the same time, a rapid stabilization of ocular surface occurred. Alkali burn in 4 cases had non progressive dissolution and perforation of cornea . In then 10 cases of corneal ulcers, 8 cases had ulcer healing, visual acuity increased to varying degree.CONCLUSION: Fresh amniotic membrane transplanta tion for ocular surface reconstruction is an effective way, it can reduce corneal in
