Methods Lowenstein-Jensen solid medium test-tube culture method for activity assay. The results of anti-TB effect of alcohol extract Prunella obvious; asiaticoside films, Ajuga and artemisinin are null and void. Conclusion Prunella vulgaris extract of anti-tuberculosis effect of alcohol is better than water extract; Centella asiatica ethanolic extract had a weak inhibitory activity of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, but its active ingredients may not be asiaticoside; artemisinin and dihydro-artemisinin-free inhibit the activity of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Urb, Ajuga decumbens Thunb. And artemisini.MethodsAntimycobaterium tuberculosis activities in vitro of the extracts were performed. ResultsThe alcoholic extract of Prunella vulgaris L. had obviously antimycobaterium tuberculosis effect, while the extract of Ajuga decumbens Thunb. and artemisinin were of no effect against tuberclosi.ConclusionThe results suggested that the antimycobaterium tuberculosis activity of Prunella vulgaris L. alcoholic extract was more significant than watersoluble extract of it, and asiaticosides were likely to be noneffective constituents of Centella asiatica (L.)
