Methods according to Bartlett C18 (4.6 mm * 200 mm, 5 μ m) column separation of magnolol and honokiol, mobile phase methanol-acetonitrile (31.5:38.5:30.0), detection wavelength of 294 nm. RESULTS The linear range: Magnolol 0.54 ~ 13.61 μ g, r = 0.999 7 (n = 7), honokiol 0.11 ~ 2.82 μ g, r = 0.999 7 (n = 7). Honokiol average recovery 100.92%, SRD = 1.79% (n = 6), honokiol average recovery 101.23%, RSD = 1.79% (n = 6). Conclusion The method is simple and good stability. The average recoveries of magnolol and honokiol were 100.92% (RSD = 1.79%) and 101.23% (RSD = 1.79%). ConclusionThe method is simple and quick, which is suitable for practical use.
