[Methods] C18 column, mobile phase of acetonitrile-50mmol * L-1NaH2PO4 aqueous solution (phosphoric acid adjusted PH = 2.5) (25:75), flow rate 1.0mL * min-1, room temperature, UV 348 nm detection. [Results] berberine 0.106 ~ 0.530μ g (n = 5) the scope of a good linear relationship (r = 0.9999); method precision of RSD = 0.7% (n = 6). Four batches of samples of berberine hydrochloride were 19.11,18.81,18.83,18.92 mg/100mg. [Conclusion] The method of specific, simple and accurate; for the drug quality control to provide a practical method. [Methods] The chromatographic system consisted of Dimonsil C18 column and mobile phase of acetonitrile-50mmol * L-1 sodium dihydrogen phosphate (adjusted PH to 2.5 with H3PO4) (25:75). The flow rate was 1.0 mL * min-1, and the detective wavelength was at 348 nm. [Results] The calibration curve was linear in the range of 0.106 ~ 0.530 μ g (n = 5) . The method was proved to be repeatable with RSD 0.7% (n = 6) .4 batches of sample were analyzed and the Berberine Hydrochloride contents were 19.11, 18.81, 18.83, 18.92mg/100mg, respectively. [Conclusion] The method is selective , simple and accurate, and could be used for the quality control of this preparation.
