hTERC gene amplification and correlation of cervical lesions

PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 9 hTERC gene amplification and correlation of cervical lesions [Abstract] Objective: To investigate the human telomerase gene (human telomerase gene, hTERC) gene amplification and the development of cervical cancer and the relationship. Methods: 100 patients with cervical smear test results based on morphologic classification of the smear , fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) techniques for the classification of different smear hTERC genetic testing, to explore hTERC gene amplification and morphological changes in different cells. Results: The specimens of 100 cases detected, normal or inflammation in 26 cases, 5 cases of gene amplification, amplification rate was 19.25%; CIN group detected in 37 cases, 8 cases were amplified rate of 21.6%; CIN group detected 23 cases, 14 cases amplified rate was 60.8%; CIN group detected in 12 cases, 9 cases had amplified rate was 75.0%; were amplified in 2 cases of cervical cancer. Conclusion: hTERC gene is highly expressed in cervical cancer, may play an important role in the development of , exfoliated cells in cervical lesions detected hTERC amplified poorly differentiated lesions may help determine high-risk, early stage cervical cancer can be used as screening, monitoring and evaluation of the prognosis of the disease secondary indicators. [Keywords:] FISH technique; hTERC gene; cervical lesions Worldwide, cervical cancer remains a serious threat to the health of women is one of malignant tumors. Incidence rate in the female reproductive system, the second cancer every year worldwide, there are about 493,000 new cases in China each year about 12 million new cases [1]. cervical cancer and development is a multi-gene, multi-factor, the gradient to the mutation process. In recent years, studies have shown that atypical cervical cells from cervical dysplasia to change the course of almost long arm of chromosome are accompanied by the 3rd expansion, which involves the most important gene
