Human gliomas the expression of osteopontin

PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 11 Human gliomas the expression of osteopontin [Keywords:] glioma Expression and significance of osteopontin in human gliomas [Abstract] AIM: To investigate the expression of osteopontin in human gliomas as well as its function. METHODS: Osteopontin expression in human normal brain cells and glioma cells was detected by immunohistochemical staining and RTPCR method. RESULTS: Osteopontin was expressed in glioma cells but was not expressed in human normal brain cells. CONCLUSION: Osteopontin expression in glioma is closely related to the malignant degree of glioma. [Keywords] glioma; osteopontin; immunohistochemistry [Abstract] Objective: To investigate osteopontin (OPN) in human glioma in the role of expression and its significance. Methods: RTPCR and immunohistochemical staining to detect brain glioma tissues and normal tissues of osteopontin . Results: Osteopontin expression in glioma cells, while in normal brain tissue cells, no expression, but also the expression of OPN concentration was positively correlated malignant glioma. Conclusion: The human brain glioma in the expression of OPN is closely related to their degree of malignancy. [Keywords:] Glioma; osteopontin; Immunohistochemistry 0 Introduction Invasive growth of human glioma recurrence and clinical efficacy is the main reason for poor, the process involved in cell signal transduction, cell adhesion, cell migration and many other links. Osteopontin (osteopontin, OPN) is a kind of integration that contains -binding sequence GRGDS secreted phosphorylated acidic glycoprotein, which functions for the adhesion of OPN plays an important role. integrin is the OPN receptors, OPN through the cell adhesion recognition sequence GRGDS integrin binding to the cell, stimulating the cell signal transmission ways to promote cell adhesion and migration, prompting the cells to the malignant development [1-3], we used immunohistochemistry and RTPCR method of OPN expression in human gliomas.
