Hypothermia on ischemic brain injury in the expression of heat shock protein

PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 22 Hypothermia on ischemic brain injury in the expression of heat shock protein [Abstract] Objective: To investigate the mild hypothermia on focal cerebral ischemia in rat brain after acute heat shock protein 70 (Hsp70) expression and its significance. Methods: 48 SD rats were randomly divided into the mild hypothermia group and control group each group was further divided into 3 subgroups, each subgroup 8, in the light of improved suture method Longa A rat model of focal cerebral ischemia, mild hypothermia treatment group were given 2 hours of mild hypothermia, while the control group without hypothermia treatment. 12 hours after ischemia, respectively, 24 hours, 48 hours, the rats were killed, was detected by immunocytochemistry penumbra Hsp70 protein expression, a semiquantitative analysis. Results: The expression of heat shock protein count of the same sub- hypothermia group was significantly less than the normal temperature group, in 24 hours and 48 hours sub-group was statistically significant subgroup differences (P lt;0.05). Conclusion: Mild hypothermia reduces ischemic penumbra, so that acute focal ischemic brain tissue decreased expression of Hsp70, with cerebral protection. [Keywords:] Hypothermia; cerebral ischemia; heat shock protein 70 Abstract Objective: To investigate the effectiveness of mild hypothermia therapy on heat shock protein (Hsp) expression in rats with focal cerebral ischemia. Methods: 48 SD rats were randomly divided into the trial group (the mild hypothermia group) and the control group. Each group was subdivided into 3 groups (sub-groups) according to the post-infarction disposal time, with 8 SD rats in each sub-group. The rat models of focal cerebral ischemia were established with the modified Longa method. The rats in the trial group were cooled by mild hypothermia for two hours, while those in the control group were subjected to no disposal. The rats in every sub-group was killed at the points of 1
