Morris 1 MCI and other elderly of the community were a group of 9.5 years follow-up. Survival analysis showed that when the first 5 years 60.5% progressed to AD, when the first 9.5 years, 100% progressed to AD. MCI is considered to be an important risk factor for AD, so far MCI has become a research hotspot. Cognitive function in old age is an important factor in the increasing elderly population will become the focus of population control AD. However, there are elderly people over the age of 80 with mild cognitive status and related risk factors is relatively small. The elderly population to a preliminary understanding of status and risk factors of MCI. 1 Subjects and methods 1.1 The survey 8 October 2007 on the West China Hospital of Sichuan University and hospital out-patient elderly patients were investigated. Inclusion criteria: age 80 years old. Exclusion criteria: suffering from mental illness would affect cognitive function assessment; aphasia, hearing loss, blindness or other serious physical illness can not cooperate with the inspection; patients have been diagnosed with AD; unwilling to cooperate with investigations. A total of 202 patients, 150 males, 52 females, mean age (82.51 2.14) years. 1.2 The use of screening and diagnosis method to survey two steps.
