Evidence-based care (evidence based nursing.ENB) [1], refers to research from the clinical experts, patient’s wishes and integration of existing research resources to be the best evidence to develop the patient’s health care plan. EBN has become a nursing a necessary component of professional development, health care systems and standards of nursing practice in the 21st century .2000 April to April 2003 according to EBN our request for our department management of elderly hypertensive patients, based on its assessment of the risk factors, including history taking, physical examination, understanding risk factors, body mass index calculation, check blood pressure, electrocardiogram, blood lipids, blood glucose, urine protein, clinical analysis, and interventions taken, that non-drug treatment and drug treatment, the cancer risk factor is markedly reduced, improved hypertension awareness, treatment and control rates, to decrease morbidity, and achieved satisfactory results, are as follows. 1 Clinical data According to WHO diagnostic criteria for hypertension, I-level 140-159/90-99mmHg, Ⅱ grade 160-179/100-109mmHg, Ⅲ grade systolic blood pressuregt; 180mmHg or diastolic blood pressuregt; 110mmHg, including borderline hypertension. 1.1 General information on 300 cases of hypertensive patients aged 69-82 years, male 276 cases, female 24 cases, all of my out-patient and in-patients. 1.2 Methods hospital / clinic hypertension 24-48 were assessed risk factors (smoking, high cholesterol, diabetes, genetic, psychological and social factors).
