Methods January 2006 ~ December 2007 Reproductive and Child Health Hospital in Linyi City Center for treatment of PCOS patients with infertility by ovulation induction treatment, occurred LUFS 58 patients given 35 cases of follicular puncture (puncture group), 23 patients with gynecological examinations mechanical compression method (for the extrusion method group) treatment, more treatment after ovulation rate, pregnancy rate, and in severe ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) incidence. Results puncture group ovulation was 100% (35/35), pregnancy rate was 31.4% (11/35), OHSS in rate was 2.9% (1 / 35); extrusion group ovulation rate was 47.8% (11/23), pregnancy rate was 8.7% (2 / 23), OHSS incidence was 13.0% (3 / 23); two pregnancy rate and incidence of OHSS group, the difference was not significant; puncture group ovulation rate in extrusion group, the difference was statistically significant (P lt;0.001). Conclusion ovulation induction in PCOS occurs LUFS given follicle puncture effect certainly is an effective method of treatment.
