Methods Retrospective analysis of 420 cases of undergraduate 5-year gastric cancer surgery in 14 cases of iatrogenic splenic injury occurs in clinical data. Results of radical distal subtotal gastrectomy, proximal gastrectomy and total gastrectomy in splenic injury occurred in 8 cases, 4 cases, 2 cases. Splenic injury grade according to Pachter, Ⅰ grade 3 cases, Ⅱ grade 9 cases, Ⅲ grade 2 cases. After electrocoagulation plus fibrin glue to stop bleeding, omentum suture, gelatin sponge hemostasis three cases, nine cases of suture repair, all-splenectomy in 2 cases. The whole group were discharged. Conclusion radical resection of gastric cancer caused by the occurrence of iatrogenic splenic injury, and surgical-related, by raising awareness, improving operations, properly handled, this damage can be prevented or reduced to a minimum. Methods A retrospective clinical data analysis of 14 iatrogenic splenic injury patients from 420 radical gastrectomy cases in the past 5 years in our hospital. Results There were 8 , 4, and 2 splenic injury cases in radical distal subtotal gastrectomy, proximal gastrectomy and total gastrectomy, respectively. Eelectrocoagulation plus fibrin glue, omental suture, gelatin sponge compression hemostasis were used in 3 cases to stop bleeding, 9 patients received suture neoplasty, 2 cases received full-splenectomy.
