Methods A retrospective analysis of our hospital diagnosed pulmonary lymphangioleiomyomatosis in 11 cases, all patients underwent chest X-ray examination and chest HRCT examination. The results show no obvious chest X-specific. HRCT features of diffuse lung showed round or polygonal cysts, cysts of about 2-40mm in diameter, most less than 10mm, wall thickness of small at 1mm. Conclusions Pulmonary lymphangioleiomyomatosis is a rare disease, which has characteristic imaging findings, especially HRCT imaging examination in the diagnosis of great significance. Methods eleven patients with pathologically proved PLAM underwent chest X-ray and high resolution thoracic CT scanning, The clinical data and image features were retrospectively analyzed.Results The chest X-ray shows no characteristic manifestation, the characteristic HRCT manifestation was multiple, different sized cystoid transparent areas, which were diffusely distributed throughout both lungs.
