MethodsInhibitory activity to Preadipocyte proliferation and antioxidant activity of flavonoids extracted from portulaca oleracea L. were detected.ResultsThe results showed that Portulaca oleracea L. flavonoids exerted significant inhibitory activity on preadipocytes 3T3-L1 proliferation at the concentration higher than 200μg/ml. Furthermore, it showed higher hydroxyl radicals scavenging capability with the increase of concentration at the concentration higher than 0.061mg/mL, besides, showed the same capability of scavenging half of hydroxyl radicals at the concentration of 0.119mg/ml compared with 0.13mg/ml Vitamin C. ConclusionPortulaca oleracea L. Flavonoids has strong OH. Scavenging ability and can signifigantly inbibit 3T3-L1 proliferation at high concentration (gt; 100μg/ml
