With perinatal medicine and neonatal intensive care treatment technology, making steady increase in the survival rate of preterm children [2]. but because of premature rupture of membranes, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and other factors, premature not only harmful to the safety of pregnant women, and quality of life of preterm children is seriously threatened. because the cause has not really clearly premature. In this paper, the method of retrospective cases of preterm birth in our hospital to investigate risk factors for preterm birth and the impact of premature children, to strengthen the clinical identification, monitoring and timely interventions. Subjects and methods 1. Target: June 2008 ~ December 2009 pregnant women giving birth in hospital 5472 cases, of which 290 cases were preterm labor, premature deliveries over the same period accounted for 5.3% of the total number of (290 / 5 472). Preterm children gestational age 28.0 ~ 36.5 weeks, mean gestational age was (34.3 + -1.8) weeks. 41-year-old pregnant mother of the oldest, least 20 years old, mean age (27.1 + -4.2 years). primipara accounted for 85.7% (249/290), the mothers accounted for 14.3% (41/290). because of fetal death, fetal abnormalities and birth abortion were not included in the statistics. 2. Preterm definition: more than 28 weeks gestation, less than 37 weeks (gestation 259 d) were premature deliveries.
