【Note】 This article is the title of British “school of innovation and evaluation strategies to improve the quality of school education” cooperative research, the Chinese partner institutions of the Central Educational Science Research Institute, the British co-operation agencies to the University of Bristol. 【Summary】 schools to evaluate the educational evaluation system at the core position, which directly affects the right teacher evaluation and student evaluation of the principles and the development of schools. The use of value-added assessment of school effectiveness is currently an important content of school evaluation studies. Baoding in Hebei Province ordinary senior secondary schools to conduct empirical research results show that the performance: 60% ~ 80% of the college entrance examination results are not inter-school gap caused by the schools themselves, the students progress in improving margins, significant differences exist between different schools. Value-added evaluation results with the college entrance examination scores of evaluation results there is a big difference; school effectiveness in different disciplines were no significant differences; schools on the performance of different groups of students no difference. Value-added assessment of school effectiveness evaluation system for innovations to school has important reference value.
