Publishing ωul Publicωions by Ming 丹inces by French scholar J岳rôme Kerlouégan are works which concentrate on the engraved books belonged to the royal families of Ming dynasty. CHEN s article mainly gives an overview of the publications by Ming princes and introduces the regularities of publishing time , publishing places and contents , which focuses on the physical formats of the books. Kerlou岳gan s article studies the publishing and publications of Ming princes in the context of imperial clan and cultural history , which discusses the motives , sources , subjects of the publishing , and the circulation of the publications. This paper does a comparative study of the two articles , exploring the differences and similarities in the researches between domestic scholars of ancient literature and overseas sinologists.
