ANNIHILATORSONWEAKLYSTANDARDBCC-ALGEBRAS R.HALASˇANDL.PLOJHAR Received18May2005andinrevisedform20September2005 InarecentpapertheauthorspresentedanewconstructionofBCC-algebrasderivedfrom posetswiththetopelement1.ResultingBCC-algebras, calledweaklystandard,arethose forwhichevery4-elementsubsetcontaining1isasubalgebra.Inthispaperwecontinue ourinvestigationsfocusingonthepropertiesoftheirlatticesofcongruencekernels. 1.Introduction BCK-algebras, introducedinthe1960sbyImaiandIs′eki[3],formawell-knownclassof algebrasintensivelystudiedinalgebraiclogicduringthelastdecades.Thereasonoftheir introduction waspractically twofold:theydescribegeneralpropertiesofalgebrasofsets with thesetsubtraction asabinary operation, and secondly,they form anatural gen- eralization ofalgebraic counterparts ofimplicational reducts ofseveral kinds oflogics. Namely,theclass ofimplication algebras, introduced byAbbott when describing alge- braicpropertiesofthelogicalconnectiveimplicationinaclassicalpropositionallogic,is apropersubclass ofBCK-algebras. Bounded commutative BCK-algebras areknown to beequivalenttoaclassofMV-algebras,arisinginafuzzylogic. In connection with a problem whether the class of BCK-algebras forms a variety, Komori[4]introducedandstudiedawiderclassofBCC-algebras. Westartwiththefollowingaxiomaticsystem. De?nition1.1. Analgebra(A,?,1)oftype(2,0)isaBCC-algebraifitsatis?esthefollow- ingidentities: (BCC1)(x?y)?[(z?x)?(z?y)]=1, (BCC2)x?x=1, (BCC3)x?1=1, (BCC4)1?x=x, (BCC5)(x?y=1y?x=1)?x=y.
