This paper is about a way of correction of endothelial dysfunction with the inhibitor of arginase: L-norvaline. There is an imbalancebetweenvasoconstrictionandvasodilatationfactorsofendotheliumonthebasisofendothelialdysfunction.Among vasodilatationagents,nitrogenoxideplaysthebasicrole.AminoacidL-arginineservesasasourceofmoleculesofnitrogenoxide inanorganism.BecauseofthehighactivityofarginaseenzymewhichcatalyzesthehydrolysisofL-arginineintoornithineand urea,thebioavailabilityofnitrogenoxidedecreases.Theinhibitorsofarginasesuppresstheactivityofthegivenenzyme,raising andproductionofnitrogenoxide,preventingthedevelopmentofendothelialdysfunction. 1.Introduction mediating leukoaraiosis.
