Higher self-examination in building life-long education system#39;s contribution
Abstract of the 21st century, human society in the new wave of scientific and technological revolution driven by the production, or both, but in an unprecedented development and changes in the high-speed. This development requires that all members of society must establish a life-long education, lifelong learning concept, only by constantly learning, people’s spiritual, material up to a certain extent in order to adapt to social development.

Life-long education for adults in 1965, Secretary for Education of UNESCO, the French franc at the UNESCO Conference on Lange’s proposal. Later, this idea to be widely circulated, many countries have developed a series of education rules and regulations to implement lifelong education. For its part, the Party Congress report clearly pointed out: “Building a life-long education system”, “the formation of universal learning, lifelong learning, learning society, promote the comprehensive development”, where the party’s important the first time in literature “lifelong learning” concept. The basic content of lifelong education mainly includes four aspects: first, life-long education is sustained, throughout the various stages of human life an ongoing process; second, life-long education as a whole, which for all members of society, and to everything has an educational function of social organizations, or to connect; third, life-long education is complete, at all levels of education should be interrelated, various forms of education to communicate with each other, all levels of education should be coordinated; fourth, life-long education is comprehensive, designed to promote the comprehensive development, it requires learning to know, learning to do, learning to live together and learn to survive, improve people’s overall quality, as a pillar of education and learning.
