Abstract: The development of scientific research in higher vocational colleges is the key to precise positioning, should be mainly for teaching, for the first line of local production and construction, attention to small and medium sized technical subjects, with emphasis on technical practicality, explore the characteristics of higher vocational education. The promotion of education through research to continuously improve the quality of teaching and enhance quality of teachers.

Higher vocational education is an important part of higher education, vocational institutions and vigorously carry out scientific research work and develop advanced expertise is an indispensable means, but also economic and social development and self-development objective requirements.
