Methods:BetweenMay1994andAugust2007,24menwerefoundtohavesimpleintratesticularcystsonscrotal ultrasonography.Recordswereanalysedretrospectivelytoidentifytheclinicoradiologicfindingsandthe management. Results:Medianfollowupwas29.5months(range4-108months).Onlyonepatientbecamesymptomaticwitha cystwhichincreasedinsizeby13mmover15months.Orchidectomyperformedatthepatient’ srequest confirmedabenignsimplecyst. Conclusions:Inourseries,asignificantchangeinsizeofthecystwithaccompanyingsymptomswasobservedin onecaseonly.Asymptomaticpatientswithsimpleintratesticularcystswithoutassociatedfeaturesofbiastowards malignancycanbedischargedwithoutneedforfurtherfollow-up.
