Melhods W巳 rctrospcctivcly rcvicwcd thc medical rccords of 50 mctastatic urothclial carcinoma paticnts undcrgoing at Icast 2 cycles of chcmotherapy during Ju l. 2003 and Ap r. 2014. Therc w巳r巳 39 males and 11 females , with a mcdian age of 66 ycars( range 43 - 87 ycars). Of all cas(坏， 9 wcre diagnosed as synchronous m巳tastasis ， while the other 41 were diagnosed as metachronous metastasis and thc median mctastasis-frcc intcrval was 17.0 months. The association be- tw巳cn clinical variablcs and ovcrall survival was assessed by univariat巳 analysis. Th巳 Cox proportional hazard regression model was performed to idcntify thc indepcndcnt prognostic factors. Resulls In our cohort. the median ov巳rall survival from the initiation of chcmothcrapy was 17.2 months. Thc l-ycar survival rate was 68.0 % , and 2-year survival rate was 24.0 %.
