[ABSTRACT] Objective: To evaluate the cost-effectiveness ratios of pregabalin and gabapentin in the
treatment of post-herpetic neuralgia (PHN). Methods: The reports on pregabalin and gabapentin in the treatment
of PHN with randomizeddouble-blind and placebo-controlled design were collectedThe therapeutic effects of
two drugs were compared and conducted with cost-effectiveness analysis. Results: Average daily pain score
decreased from 1.18 to 2.7 an average day with pregabalin and placebo, combination effect size MD was
1.31[95%CI1.181.44]. Two dose of pregabalin [150mg/d26.19%and 300
