Teaching Difficult Points； How to make students conclude the main idea of a passage Teaching Aids： the traditional ways (with the blackboard and chalk) Teaching Methods： In the ways of asking students questions and then the way of discussing, practicing etc. to strengthen the students’ knowledge and improve the students’ reading abilities. Current Situation： Because of the poor conditions in the rural area, most students ’reading abilities are not so good. They can’t find the topic sentence in a passage, and they don’t know how to get the main idea from the passage. So they can’t finish the exercise well because of their poor skills.
