The standard of steel pipe is different
1, GB8162 and GB8163
GB8162 structure with seamless steel tubes, this standard is applicable to the general structure, mechanical structure with seamless steel tubes, GB/T8163 the transmission fluid with seamless steel tube standard is applicable to general seamless steel pipe conveying fluid. The main difference between it and GB8162 is that the GB8163 pipe is hydraulic test or ultrasonic, eddy current and leakage detection. Therefore, in the standard of pressure pipe tube, the standard of GB8162 should not be adopted.
Other commonly used steel pipe standards
For pressure piping installation quality control and monitor personnel, should be equipped and understand the following commonly used steel pipe standard:
GB3087-1999 (1) the low medium pressure boiler seamless steel tube (2) GB6479-86 fertilizer equipment with high-pressure seamless steel tube (3) GB9948-88 petroleum cracking with seamless steel tube (4) GB/T14976-94 fluid conveying stainless steel seamless steel tube etc

GB/t9711-1997 technical conditions for the delivery of steel pipe of oil and gas industry;
GB/T 3091-2001 low pressure liquid transport welding steel pipe;
GB/T 12771-2000 stainless steel welded steel pipe by liquid transport;
SY/t5037-2000 low pressure fluid transmission pipe with spiral seam welding steel pipe;
SY/t5038-1992, the normal fluid transfer pipe with the spiral of high frequency welding steel pipe;
SY/T6194-2003 oil and gas oil well casing or tubing with steel pipe;
2, the pressure pipe is manufactured by seamless steel tube (including the boiler pressure vessel).
