The plan has a target to build the GTEZ into a “National Inland Economic Development and Strategic Highland” in about 10 years. The various countries ˊexperience indicated that: the financial development is the important strut condition to the modern economic growth. So it has theoretical and practical significance to know how to support the economy development in Guanzhong—Tianshui Economic Zone by the development of financial. This paper is studying the relationship of financial development and economic growth of the zone. So that we can find the way of how to promote economic development by the finance. This research mainly from the theoretical basis of the specific, current situation analysis, empirical research, suggestions. The paper was discussed in six chapters. Chapter 1 is introduction. It mainly introduces the necessity, the methods and the framework of the research. Chapter two is literature review. Firstly review the theories of economic growth and financial development, and then discuss the documents about the relationship between financial development and economic growth, at last, comment on the theories and documents objectively.
