According to the statistical analysis, there is significant correlation between the quantity of used reference, conjunction and lexical cohesion and the quality of compositions, but there is no significant correlation between the quantity of used substitution and ellipsis and the quality of compositions. Among the reference sub-classifications, only the quantity of used personal reference correlates with the quality of compositions significantly. Among the sub-classifications of conjunction, only the quantity of used addition correlates with the quality of compositions significantly.
