upon Interior and Exterior Relationship between the Lung and Large Intestine

Abstract: Almond belongs to lung and large intestine channels． Zhang Zhongjing treated kinds of diseases ingeniously on the
basis of channel tropism． This paper excerpts expositions of almond from materia medica during past dynasties ，summarizes the ex-
positions of syndrome 、treatment and prescription herbs for diseases correlated with lung and large intestine in Treatise on Exoge-
nous Febrile Disease and Miscellaneous Diseases ，gaves examples of almond used by Zhang Zhongjing according to the theory of
Interior and Exterior Relationship between the Lung and Large Intestine ，as well as the usage and dosage of almond．
