The formation constantK A and the thermodynam ic functions( such as G, H and S ) for the reaction have all been measured. The effect of various m etal ions and tempera tures on the formation constant of aristoloch ic acid A w ith BSA w as also studied. Further more, the effect of aristolochic acid A on the conformation of BSA has been analyzed using synchronous fluorescence spectroscopy; the b ind ing d istance betw een aristoloch ic acid A and BSA, and the transfer efficiency have been obtained based on the mechan ism of Forster energy transfer.
