Method With a F population between a resistant and a 2 susceptible parent (Q6×Q12) , the linked marker was screened by BSA method and AFLP technology. Result An AFLP primer pair, E20M64, was polymorphic between the resistant and susceptible bulk at 130bp. The resistant F plants possessed the band of 2 130bp, and no fragment was amplified from the susceptible F plants. The AFLP marker was tightly linked to the cucumber scab 2 resistance gene, and the genetic distance was 4.83cM. Sequencing of the fragment indicated that the length was 125bp.
