(1) Preface
Line design is a comprehensive consideration, many factors are interrelated, curve radius, crown slope, the vehicle traveling on the line of force, road width etc.. When the vehicle runs on the curve, centrifugal force is generated, so that the stability and comfort of the vehicle on the curve, and the smoothness of the drainage system of the road must be taken into account.
(two) ultra high and its function;
In order to offset the centrifugal force produced when the vehicle runs on the curve road, the road surface is made into a single lateral slope higher than the inner side, which is the super height on the curve. Therefore, the ultra high transverse slope should be in line with the circle radius of the whole height, and the transition curve should be a gradual change of height. This section of the straight slope from the straight line to the one-way slope on the circle curve is called the ultra high transition section or the ultra high transition section.
