On the one hand, enterprises are facing a changing competitive environment, on the other hand, the enterprise is in many ways the status quo, such as: culture. A consistent cultural environment will greatly limit leadership skills.
Needless to say, developing leadership has become one of the biggest challenges for Chinese companies in management. Leadership training is gaining more and more attention. But we find that many companies are faced with the same problem: more training, less effect. Why is that?
Li Jianzhi (Harold Chee) Professor, Ash Rich in the UK (Ashridge) on the behavior of leadership and business school teaching, and in China enterprises (Sinopec, ABB, Novartis, Swire beverages company) after a number of training, training of China enterprise leadership, made their own suggestions.
He believes that, on the one hand, enterprises are always facing a changing competitive environment. On the other hand, the enterprise is in many respects status quo, such as: concept, attitude, and culture. A consistent cultural environment will greatly limit leadership skills. Chinese entrepreneurs misreading leadership

Li Jianzhi: I have been teaching some Chinese enterprises at home and found that the definition of leadership in China is different from the trend in the world. Chinese corporate leaders are more traditionally inclined to command and control.
