Abs tract: In order to mi prove theUV curing capab ility of epoxy acrylate resin, the epoxy acrylate resin modified by
maleic anhydred is used as oligomer ofUV curing coating. The result show s that the modified epoxy acrylate resin
possesses h igher doublebond content and betterUV curing rate than trad itional epoxy acrylate oligomermade by
trad itional esterification. The synthesis process of epoxy acrylate resin, choice of reaction temperature, catalyst, in
h ib itors, the effect of change of acid value during expermi ent and tmi e of UVcuring on resin properties are dis
cussed.
