A Study on Gengokatudouin Mathematics Education

Abstract
As for the problem of Reading Literacyand Gengokatudouwhich begin with the PISA shock,
it considered from the view of the math education. Based on the result about the regular test which was
conscious for Reading Literacy, the term which was used for the short time and was changed, the Central
Council for Education report in and the mathematics teaching now, it clarified the role of Gen-
gokatudouabout the math education.
As a result, the fullness of Gengokatudouis not to guide new contents so-called. However, the
thing that to reconsider the guide of the math teaching from the viewpoint Gengokatudou, and to im-
prove making-up are important became in the clarifying. And, the three points were pointed out as an in-
sufficient point in present methods and techniques of instruction, and the improvement idea was shown.
