Our hospital from March 2003 - December 2008 were treated 28 patients with femoral nonunion cases, the use of automatic compression plate and bone grafting, with good results., are as follows: Clinical data 1.1 General Information The group of 28 patients, including 22 males and 6 females, the oldest were 63 years old, the smallest in 13 years, mean age 38 years. Nonunion parts: the upper 5 cases, the lower segment in 18 cases, under section 5 cases. primary injuries of open fractures in 20 cases, closed fractures in 8 cases. the type of fracture: comminuted in 18 cases, 4 cases of long oblique, cross-sectional shape in 6 cases. fracture treatment of the primary injury: emergency surgery in 11 cases, the remaining 17 cases in the 10 to 14 days after surgery, in which V-pin fixation in 16 cases, 8 cases of ordinary plate, screw plus wire binding four cases of .28 patients before, during and after no blood vessels, nerves combined injuries accidental injury, free primary and secondary bone and soft tissue purulent infection which nail breakage in 1 case, steel cut in 3 cases, screw breakage in 2 cases.
