银杏叶复方制剂预防家兔动脉粥样硬化实验研究（Experimental study of ginkgo leaf compound preparation on preventing atherosclerosis in rabbits） Experimental study of ginkgo leaf compound preparation on preventing atherosclerosis in rabbits Update Date: 2009-12-21 Click: Cheng Yian, Hu Suping AS (Atherosclerosis) is one of the most common pathological processes in the cardiovascular system, and is the basis for the prevention and treatment of ischemic diseases. In order to find an effective way to control AS, we have developed a kind of ginkgo leaf compound preparation based on the previous experimental results and experience. This paper reports the effects of this compound preparation on blood lipids, free radical and aortic plaque formation in AS rabbits. 1 materials and methods 1.1 animal model replication and administration: 21 healthy male New Zealand white rabbits (supplied by animal room), weighing 2 + 0.3 kg. Were randomly divided into 3 groups: group A was the control group, fed standard diet; B group and AS group fed with 1% cholesterol (the Great Wall Shanghai biochemical pharmaceutical factory) feed, each 0.5 g/d; group C, drug group, and B group with cholesterol feeding, feeding and other compound preparation of ginkgo leaf daily 10g/kg. All animals were reared in single cage.
