jI；谁赶诞 2007(4) -- j 誊。 罄一《 l 强|∞ 镌g_一 ％ 一4餮《。《镰 服务 [文章编号]1004-325X(2007)04-0079-06 农村信息需求与服务研究：国内外相关文献综述水 Research on Rura1 Information Needs and Services：A Review of Related Literature from Within China and Abroad 于良芝 张 瑶 (南开大学信息资源管理系 天津 300071) 【摘 要】 本文总结了20世纪80年代以来国内外有关农村信息需求与服务的研究成果，比较了国内和国外 相关研究在研究视野、方法和主要发现方面的异同。比较结果显示，世界不同地区有关农村信息需求的研究 存在很多相似，这表明农村这一地域特性可能超越了文化因素，成为塑造农村信息需求的主要因素；它同时 表明各国在设计农村信息服务时存在相互借鉴的可能。研究还发现，截止目前，我国在该领域的研究以决策 支持研究和探索性研究 (exploratory study)为主，较少提出理论创新成果，我国在这一领域对世界的理论 贡献与我们拥有的庞大农村人口很不相称。 【关键词】 信息服务 信息需求 文献综述 【中图分类号】G25 [文献标识码】A 【Abstract】This paper provides a comparative review of related research produced by Chinese researchers and their ovemeas counterparts on rural information needs and information provision since the 1 g80s．It shows that albeit originated from different cultures and countries，the world’S literature on rural information needs contains fairly similar research findings，which probably indicates that the geographical character of rural areas may transcend culture and other factors in shaping rural population。S information needs，and it is possible for different countries to learn fr0m each other in meeting rural population’S information needs． This research also shows that related research by Chinese scholars is hitherto dominated by practical concerns or exploratory studies；theoretical contribution of Chinese scholars to the world’S knowledge base about rural inform~ion needs and services lags comparatively behind．We regard this lack of theoretical contribution rather lamentable c
