The guiding ideology of enterprise management decides the management of enterprise, and the management idea corresponding to strategic marketing management is the concept of strategic marketing. Theory and practice have proved that the concept of strategic marketing is the inevitable choice of the guiding ideology of enterprise management in twenty-first Century.
Logical extension of management thought evolution
Throughout the twentieth Century, the enterprise management thought has gone through three typical stages - production concept, marketing concept and marketing concept. Among them, from production concept to selling idea is the quantitative change of the guiding ideology of enterprise management. From selling idea to marketing concept, it is the qualitative change and leap of the guiding ideology of enterprise management. The concept of strategic marketing inherits and carries forward the advantages of all previous management and guidance ideas. According to the requirements of modern social environment, it has established its own unique thinking logic framework adapted to the needs of the twenty-first Century.
