A bstrac tB The c lt ral t rn in translation st dies liberated the translator. H ow ever, it went to the extrem e of
enco raging the translator to ind lge h mi self in translation activities, ca sing great harm to the so nd development of
translatology. Advocating translation eth ics as a s b-discip line is an introspection and rational developm ent as well as
an indispensable aspect of translation st d ies as a w hole. H owever, som e research prob lem s needs theoretic
clarification in c rren t st dies concerned, and moreover, more research categories are to be developed. Th s, it is a
m st to integrate and develop its basic research categories from the perspective of system atic discip line constr ction.
