Water Resources Management Performance Evaluation of
Farmers ＇Water User Association Based on Case Study

Abstract ：Farmers ＇Water U ser A ssociation （FW U A ） is the basic form and main implement carrier of participatory w ater resources
management in rural areas ．In this study ，the performance evaluation sy stem is constructed to compare the w ater resources manage ‐
ment performance betw een ２０００ and ２０１０ of Xida village （mountain area ）and Shengli village （ lain area ）of Gao tai county in the end
p
of middle stream of Heihe river in Zhangye city ．T he results show that the superiority of FW U A are w ater supply f acilities improve ‐
ment in mountain area ，w hile w ater supply and daily irrigation management in plain area ．
