Abst ract T he latest development of in vitro c lt re in strawberry w as review ed incl ding mor-
phogenesis, gett ing vir s-free plant s, m icropropagation, breeding approach and germplasm conser-
vation. Recent research were s mmarized as follow : morphogenesis in v itro controlled by adding

grow th reg lators and elements gett ing vir s free plants and micropropagation from shoot tip or
anther c lt res; attaining haploid thro gh anther c lt res; tilizing clonal variation and t ransgenic
techniq e to breed explo ing; conservating germ plasms in vitro by freezing or cold st orage or room
temperat re storage.
