Therefore, the designe of testing system of wiper motor is an inevitable trends of the development of automotive electronics, but also an important part of Automotive Test System. Based on the microcontroller STC89C52RC,a test system of wiper is designed in the paper to test the performance of automotive wiper. The system consists of both hardware and software components.The components of hardware has completed the design and realization of the platform of test system by the composition of the power supply module, the smallest systems of 51 SOC, serial communication module, USB communication modules, wiper motor control module, wiper current detection module as well as the key component and so on. The components of software is designed to achieve the test of the system based on the hardware module including control program of wiper motor, current detection program of wiper motor, data transfer program of USB, data transfer program of Serial,Digital display and key scanning program and so on. According to the testing platform, the system can well complet the work of testing for wiper, including the wiper motor control, the choice of control strategy, current detection for wiper motor as well as USB communication.
