Learn to use the preposition “with”. e.g., I’d like a bedroom with a big window. 2. Ask Wh- questions to find out various kinds of specific information. e.g., What kind of flat would you like? 3. Use adjectives to make comparisons. e.g., We need a bigger flat. Teaching procedure: I. Pre-task preparation: 1. Warming-up. 2. Review the words about the rooms in a flat we learnt before. II. While-task procedure: 1. Lead in the text by some pictures. 2. Guess and learn the new words: balcony, bathroom etc. 3. Look at some more plans of flats and make sentences by using the new words and the sentence given. 4. Compare these flats and draw conclusions by using the adjectives. 5. Talk about the pictures in pairs by using the new words and the preposition word “with”. 6. Listen and say. 7. Turn to P36 and read the text. 8. Think and say. 9. Complete the dialogue. III.
