It was subsequently identified to be Beauver ia bassiana by means of rDNAIT S sequencing, and named JYBb201 The colony diameter and s orulation of JYBb201 on three media ( i. e. , PDA, PPDA and SDAY) w ere observed. The result s showed that the JYBb201 colonies grew fastest on PDA among the three media with a daily increase of 43 mm in diameter. H ow ever, the highest s orulation occurred on SDAY after cult ivation for 16 days. The virulence of JYBb201 w as tested by treating H . cof f ear ia larvae wit h a sus ension of fungal s ores at five concentration levels.
