1. Introduction. Greet Ss.
2. Ask Ss what subject is their favorite one.
Greet teacher, introduce oneself and a friend with “I’m / My name’s… / This is….”
Talk about their favorite subjects.
To know each other. Review the basic structure in story.
Review the names of subjects. Step 2: Set the scene.
Tell Ss: I like math. But my favorite subject is English.
Ask Ss: Do I like…? Do I like math more than English?
Tell Ss today’s story they are going to meet the BINGO Kids.
Answer T’s questions. Then talk about what subject they like and which one is the favorite.
Open their books.
Review the meaning of “like” and “favorite.”
Step 3: Learn the story.
Have Ss read the story by themselves.
Listen to the tape.
3. Ask questions:
What is the title of the story?
What new friends do you know?
Do they like Ann and Ken?
4. Learn the story Picture by Picture. Then answer the Qs.
Pic 1: Where do Ann and Ken live on now?
When did they move there?
Explain the word “neighbor”.
Pic 2: What’s the club’s name?
Pic 3: What is the name of Ann’s new school?
Explain “classmates”.
Pic 4: Learn experiments / history / geography.
Pic 5: Read.
Pic 6: Are they welcome Ann and Ken?
5. Have Ss follow the tape to read the story again.

Read the story by themselves.
Listen to the tape and point to the speech bubble.
Discuss then answer these Qs.

Think about these Qs, and then talk about their opinions.
