Task Marketing Audit Presentation : 5% of total assessment Imagine you are a marketing consultant working in a small team and have been asked to conduct a marketing audit of a product or company. A formal presentation by the marketing team Present key elements of the marketing plan 15 minutes to deliver presentation and address questions fielded from ‘Business Executives’ and audience • Assess the performance of the company – make an assessment of the product/service (how it is performing in the market place) • Marketing Plan –– recommendationsrecommendations – marketing mix: customers, competitors, company, macro- environment – Justification based on marketing knowledge and judgement of principles taught in the course Classic Advice Tell them what you are going to tell them, tell them, tell them again Introduction Mechanics - Slides -- Speaking styleSpeaking style - Presentation style Content - How best to determine what to say Slides • Make one major point per slide -You can always add comments verbally Amount of Information per Slide • Less is better than more •• Limit the # of words per line and lines per Limit the # of words per line and lines per slide How many slides?
