教学目的要求:
1、掌握词汇:chopstick, coin, fork, blouse, silver, glass, cotton, steel
2、能用以下句型进行交际:
A: What are the shirts made of?
B: They’re made of cotton.
A: Where were they made?
B: They were made in Korea.
重点、难点:
理解被动语态、一般现在时与一般过去时被动语态的构成及灵活运用。
教学过程:
Step 1?Warming up and leading in
(Show three shirts on the screen.)
T: What can you see on the screen?
Ss: Three shirts.
(Show shirts, cotton and Korea under the pictures of the shirts.)
T: What are the shirts made of? (教师板书课题)
(Ask Ss to read the sentence together. And help them to answer: They are made of cotton.)(教学生词cotton)
T: Where were they made?
(Help them answer: They were made in Korea.(教学生词Korea)
教学意图:通过一个简单的图片引入要谈论的话题。
Step 2?Presentation?
1. Show some pictures on the screen and teach the new words: chopstick, coin, silver, fork, steel, blouse, glass.
2. Show all the new words learned on the screen and have the whole class read after the teacher.
3. Show the objectives of this class on the screen: (1) To talk about what products are made of and where they were made.讨论产品用什么制造及在哪儿制造。(2) To learn to use?be made of(由……制成), be made in(产自;在……制造).
教学意图:通过图片教学生词,直观、生动,易引起学生的注意与兴趣。
Step 3?教学1a-1c
1. 1a (matching)
(1) Show on the screen some pictures of the things in 1a and ask “What’s this?” to help them review “stamp, window, fork, coin, ring, blouse”.
(2) T: What are these things usually made of? Match them with the materials in 1a. More than one answer is possible.
(3) Check the answers by asking: What are chopsticks made of? (Have Ss answer: They抮e made of wood or gold or silver.)
A: What抯 a window made of?牋牋牋牋牋牋牋 B: It抯 made of wood or glass.
A: What抯 a coin made of? ?????????燘: It抯 made of gold or silver.
