Although they have experienced different periods of development and enjoyed different ways of development, both of them have got out of British hand and become developed capitalist countries, enjoyed a very significant position in modern and contemporary times. However, when we compare Canada with America, we will find out that they two are much different in the fields of election, multiculturalism, the symbols of nature, political system, National Mentality, and so on. We compare the two countries from three aspects: multiculturalism, political system, culture. Firstly, because of the difference of some historical reasons and the current social, the multiculture in two counties presents different characteristics. It is widely acknowledged that multiculture in America is built on the assimilation model under “melting pot” culture, and Canadian multiculture is based on the coexistence mode “mosaic” culture. Then when it comes to multiculturalism, although this theory has certain vulnerability, it is indeed actively promoting their economic and social development. As to the symbolism of nature of the two countries, we study their differences mainly from three aspects: the natural, the animal world and the plant world. In addition, we also hi
