Lesson 21 We look different 山阳城区一中 陈金聪 一．教材依据 我所设计的是河北教育出版社出版的初一英语第三单元第21课—We look different. 二．设计思想 本套教材注重学生综合语言能力的培养，强调以学生为主的有意义的语言实践活动，本课主要以描述自己的外貌为主线，围绕最基本的，最常用的单词学生要会描述自己和同伴。 我所教的班级是初一3,4班，3班59人，四班57人，都属于大班，虽然小学他们都学过两年英语，但从实际情况看来这两个班学生英语基础太差，很多学生26个字母都不会写，针对此种情况我首先以听说为主线，通过听说，读等一系列活动，让学生获得基本的听说能力，并在教学中多鼓励学生，可以用语言表扬或是小礼品，让学生爱上英语课，在课内多发现学生的闪光点。 三．教学目标 1.学习单词，如：long,short,blond等等 2.学习描述自己和他人 3.能流利的读课文 4.能用英语写关于描述自己和他人外貌的小文章。 四．教学重点 1.形容词：long ,short 2.has 的用法。 3.会描述自己的外貌。 五．教学难点 1.怎样描述一个人的头发，包括长度和颜色。 2.如何描述眼睛，主要描述眼睛的大小和颜色。 3.动词have和has的用法 六．教法选择 卡片展示，启发教学，注重评价，发现学生闪光点 七．学法指导 同伴交流，小组合作探究 八．教学准备 录音机，自制卡片，小黑板，教本 九．教学过程 Teaching procedure Step1.Review(3 minutes) Teacher express the feelings of herself .Teacher can say like this :“I抦 happy today.Are you happy,too. Are you hot or cold today?Teacher ask students answer and ask questions like this. Step2.Lead-in (5minutes) Teacher through gestrues teach students how to say I have ….Teacher may begin like “I have long hair ;I have long black hair.”Teacher can ask them to describe their hair .After that teacher invite two students to describe themselves in the front of classroom , teacher change揑 have 攊nto揝he has 卡….and he has …. ?and ask them why we use has ,but not have ,they may saey “he and she are 单数第三人称”Then teacher say “You are great” Step 3 Drill(7 minutes) Learn the drill : She has …. Teacher bring cards and ask them describe like this. Student1 :She has long hair. Student2:He has short hair. Student3:She has long black hair. Student4:He has short brown hair Step 4. Practice(5.minutes) Ask them describe eyes like this.When they make mistakes ,teacher must correct them immediately. Step 5. Listening and reading(10minutes) Listen to the tape and read after it until they can read fluently.﹙Part2and part3 on page 26﹚ Let students read the text .At first ask some volunteers to read ,then invite some who do not hands up in order to see whether they can read fluently.If someone read excel
